Collected strawberries must be sorted, removing the stalk, and wash well. Then it should be laid out on a paper towel so that it dries out. For drying it will be enough for 10 - 20 minutes, after which you can begin to prepare a "live" delicacy.

Classic recipe

This is a classic recipe for strawberry jam without cooking, which was used by our ancestors. The delicacy made according to this recipe is very fragrant.

For this recipe you need to prepare:

  • 2 kilograms of strawberries;
  • 1 kilogram of granulated sugar;
  • 125 milliliters of water.

In the collected ripe berries must remove all the leaves and stalks. Only then should they be rinsed in running water and dried. Dry berries should be put in a clean bowl.

Now you have to boil the syrup. This is done quite easily. To do this, water with sugar dissolved in it should be put on medium heat and cook for 5-8 minutes. The finished syrup should be thick enough in consistency, but not white.

Tip! There is one trick to understand that the syrup is ready. For this you need to scoop a teaspoon of syrup and blow on it. The finished syrup due to its viscous, almost frozen consistency does not react to this.

Ready, still hot syrup should pour the prepared strawberries and cover with a lid. Now you can give the syrup time to cool. During this time, the strawberry will give juice, thereby making the syrup more liquid.

When the syrup has cooled, it must be drained through a sieve and boiled again for 5-8 minutes. Then again boiled syrup should be poured over the strawberries and leave to cool. The same procedure should be repeated again.

Important! If after the third cooking, the syrup did not turn out to be thick enough, then you can boil it again. In this case, you can add a little sugar.

After the third boiling, the finished delicacy can be poured into sterile jars. But first it is necessary to put the berries at the bottom of the jar, and only then pour them with syrup and close them. Before complete cooling of the banks should be covered with a blanket.

Quick recipe with photos

This is the easiest and fastest recipe for strawberry jam, which can only be. As you can see in the photo, only 2 ingredients are needed for it:

  • 1 kilogram of strawberries;
  • 1.2 kilograms of granulated sugar.

For those who love more, you can add a lemon. But before that, it must be washed, peeled and pitted, crushed in a blender or minced. It is necessary to add it almost before closing in the cans, when strawberries with sugar already give juice.
